Our Vineyards
TV vines are rooted in 14 acres of the extraordinary soil of the Oakville Appellation, home to legendary wines.
Originally, the vineyard was developed with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, all of which were sold to Robert Mondavi Winery. In 1984, we first began to produce a small amount of our own wine for friends and family.
In 1993, the vineyard was replanted, and Cabernet Sauvignon added. The new millennium and our first bottle of Teaderman Cabernet Sauvignon arrived together. Meanwhile, our Sauvignon Blanc continued to gain in popularity. Life was good.
Recently, we made the decision to increase the amount of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in the vineyard. This required us to remove some of our Sauvignon Blanc vines. As popular as the Sauvignon Blanc continues to be, the reception for the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon has been so strong, that we felt this was the best choice.
So, one day there will be more Cabernet to share, and we will make sure the Sauvignon Blanc is still here for those who have always enjoyed it so much.
It’s a good day.
